Vision
New Hope Wesleyan Church was birthed in June of 1992. It began with a missional vision, and was to be a place of “New Beginnings”. This church was planted with a heart for this community. We realize brokenness is everywhere, and are convicted that God brings sustainable and tangible hope.
New Hope is committed to loving God, loving others, equipping believers for ministry and sending the Gospel to all Nations. God has not only led us to our purpose but has also given us our passion for leading others to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We continue to balance the tension of being “A PLACE of New Beginnings” as well as a “A PEOPLE of New Beginnings.” We cannot just focus on what happens at the “place” New Hope, but we must also intentionally focus on what happens through the “people” New Hope. It is our prayer that “Church” becomes a lifestyle not a location. Changing the world was never meant to be an expression; it’s what we were made to do.
WE WANT TO BE A PLACE OF NEW BEGINNINGS THAT:
-
not only gets the community into church, but also get's the church into the community.
-
not only supports missions overseas, but also engages in missions locally.
-
is cultivating multiple ministry locations.
-
is not as concerned with attendance and finances, as we are with community impact.
- doesn't believes that serving is optional but is an expectated.
Fully Devoted goals:
-
100% of the Spiritual Family to participate in the “Unhindered Vision”
-
8 Community groups started
-
3 potential church plant areas being cultivated
-
Reach 1,900 of the 19,000 in our county that claim to be without faith
-
Debt elimination fund of $20,000 (Shouldn’t we strive to become unhindered by debt?)
-
“Unhindered Movement” fund of $20,000 (shouldn’t we plan on God growing opportunities?)
