Home Minstries Children's

Childrens

Nursery’s at New Hope:

We have loving and caring people who volunteer in a safe environment to rock, change diapers, and play with children every Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. Our infant nursery is for children 0 to 15months and our Toddler nursery is for children who are 15 months (and walking) to 3 years of age.

Preschool at New Hope:

Our preschool classroom on Sunday mornings is full of energy that provides a safe place of learning stories from the Bible. Children 3 years to 5 years old who are potty trained are being taught stories in a way that will help them remember them for years to come. They also get to enjoy a snack, play time and creative crafts each Sunday morning.

252 BASICS (K-5th)

“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke2:52)

We are so excited about our Sunday School and Children’s Church Program for children who are in K-5th grade. Our 252 BASICS curriculum focuses on a different Virtue every month that is taught through Bibles stories that teach 3 basic truths every week. Each week our children are taught that they need to make wise choices, they can trust God no matter what, and that they should treat others the way they want to be treated. During the 9:00 am service the children are in Sunday School in a small group setting discovering how the Bible story of the day is tied into the Virtue of the month and how it is relevant to their lives. In the 10:30 am service all the children K-5th grade meet together for a time of worship, game time, and to further hear the story of the day told in an exciting and creative way.

Wednesday AWANA (6:30 – 8:00)

Our AWANA program is for Preschool through 5th graders. AWANA is a program designed to teach God’s Word and to instill His Word in the hearts of children. We have Cubbies (3yr. – PreK), Sparks (K-2nd), and TNT (3rd–5th) groups who meet together for a time of Worship each night. Then each group has Book time where they are separated into smaller groups to memorize Bible verses that they have been working on at home. They are able to earn awards each week as they work through their AWANA books. Then there is Game time where they are playing fun, energized, and age appropriate AWANA games. At the end of the night each group has a time that is designated for special guest speakers, a Bible lesson, or an object lesson that is presented each week.
