New Hope Wesleyan Youth
Catalyst
Definition: Something that initiates or causes an important event to happen. Originally a term used in chemistry for the volatile (active) chemical in a formula. The term catalyst is often used to refer to the prime agent of any change.
Through connecting, growing, and becoming rooted we hope to create a young people who are active CATALYSTS for the God-movement that is going on in the world we live in!
Fused

Fused is designed to be a safe place where all students feel welcome regardless of their faith background and can connect socially with peers and loving adults. We use games, activities, illustrations discussions, and small groups, and media to encourage teens. We actively listen to their hurts, questions, and struggles, and connect them to Christ through sharing and challenging them with Biblical truth that is relevant to their culture.
"Connecting to Christ"
John 4:1-42
Many from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony"
True life transformation happens when an individual has a true encounter with Jesus Christ ans they share that encounter with others...we hope to create those kinds of stories through fused!

Linked
Linked is designed to be a safe place for students to ask questions about and wrestle with God's word as well as develop healthy accountability relationships with peers and loving adults. We used media, small groups, and loving relationships to help students dig into God's word, figure out how to daily apply it to their lives, and gain an overall better understanding of the Bible and how God's word can radically transform their lives.
"Growing in God's Word"
The youth ministry at New Hope Wesleyan Church promises to provide a safe and loving environment that will allow your student to Connect with Christ, Grow in God’s Word, and become Rooted in the Father! My hope and prayer for each student that our team gets an opportunity to work with is that they will understand God’s amazing love for them, God’s purpose for their lives, and God’s plan for their future!
James 1:19-27
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what is says."
True spiritual depth is achieved when we no longer see the Bible as just another book, but we see it as the living breathing Word of God that has the power to change lives. We hope to achieve this in the lives of students through linked!

Key Partnership
New Hope believes deeply in sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ across the street and across the world! We know that there are many lost and hurting teenagers in our local public schools that have never experienced the unconditional love and hope that come in a relationship with Jesus! In order to reach across the street and take the gospel to those students New Hope struck up a strategic partnership with Youth for Christ! If you are burdened for lost and hurting teens who are unchurched and without Jesus please talk to Adam about how to get involved with this partnership!
“First...We Must GO”
Colossians 2:1-15
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
We can’t expect students who don’t know Jesus to want to participate in church activities. We must be willing to meet them on their turf! We must think beyond our church walls, prepare ourselves to lovingly engage students, and go to where they are at!
