We are studying the book of Hebrews in S.S. Class. We have been comparing the Old Covenant to the New Covenant and what the work of Christ has accomplished. We have had some deep rich discussion. This morning as I took Communion, I heard the Holy Spirit echo the words of Jesus--"This is my body which is broken for you" and "This is the blood of the New Covenant". The reality of Christ's sacrifice hit me in a fresh new way. I am so thankful to be living in the time of the New Covenant.

God has worked in my entire life but truly blessed me in the past 12 years. I can only abbreviate a story that is truly proof of his love, I went from a cancer diagnosis "of it is nothing" to a phase 4 diagnosis in just a 2 week period. Thanks to God and numerous prayers, I spent almost two full years with God's Blessings to a point of ultimate cure. I lost my ability to communicate but he saved my life and made me living proof that he is the ALPHA AND OMEGA!!!

When my kids were little and we were struggling financially, my church friends got together and went grocery shopping for us. As I put a jar of jelly on the shelf I said, "It's been a long time since we had jelly!" The woman who bought it said she almost didn't get it but she felt God had spoken to her heart and she bought it. I knew God cared for me and my children even in those little things and that He would provide for us in other ways as well.

The people of New Hope are so incredibly generous! Our family has always been extremely blessed by God, but this past fall there has been five distinct acts of generosity. From a car, to a fridge, air compressor, free baby sitting, and a swing set we have been blessed beyond our wildest imaginations.

Going to feed, love, and pray for the homeless was truly an eye opener for me, they have nothing and I have everything, and still I want, want, want. Just made me realize how selfish I am..

Multiply Your love through me, To someone in need, Help me Lord to freely give, This grace that I've received" These are lyrics to a song the worship team recently sang. Lately I have been feeling the holy spirit calling on me to live out the words to the songs that we sing. I had that opportunity last night by participating in the cheeseburger night with Donny Foster. What a blessing it was to be able to share God's love and assure so many that Jesus cares.

Tonight I had the opportunity to love on some guys that have been searching and living on the streets for years. There was a very large group of people that showed up to help love on them. It is amazing to me that they have nothing yet they still have all the hope in world. Most of them would not even take more the one serving of food.ALL NATIONS NOT REALLY THAT FAR AWAY

Something that touched my heart when I went to Fort Wayne to pass out cheesburgers to the homeless I learned to be grateful for what I have. The homeless don't have very much and we have what we need. We still want more....even though the homeless doesn't have very much. I met a guy named Kevin from Chicago. He likes basketball and his favorite player is Michel Jordan. We have a lot in common. He was grateful for what he had.

Something that really touched my heart tonight as I helped deliver cheeseburgers to the homeless was to be more thankful and greatful for what I have. All of the people I met tonight were very nice to me. I can't wait to do this again!
